Eco-friendly Wood Carves Out Relaxing Niche for New Meditation Tool
Tulsa, Okla. (PRWeb) February 13, 2007 -- Laurie Desjardins, the founder of Sleeping Tiger, LLC has teamed up with an eco-friendly supplier of exotic hard woods to craft unique stress management tools using wood harvested without harming natural forests. The new meditation tools, known as Zen Sticks™, are designed to improve concentration during meditation.
This new partnership has yielded raw materials from the following sources:
•
Olive wood from California
•
Koa wood from Hawaii
•
Lignum Vitae wood (The Wood of Life)
The Olive wood used is gathered from clippings after majestic Olive trees are pruned each year. Koa wood is recovered from fallen trees in Hawaiian forests, without harming living trees. Likewise, Lignum Vitae wood is grown especially for harvest so that no natural forests are ever disturbed.
The Zen Sticks™ made from these woods are cut and polished like jewels. The finished meditation tools are then shipped to customers who toss, catch and hold the sticks while practicing various relaxation techniques.
"The Zen Stick provides such a simple and relaxing exercise," said Juliana Reimer, an attorney with Shaddix & Reimer Law Center in Owasso, OK. "Forget about yoga! All I need is the Zen Stick."
While busy meditation enthusiasts seem drawn to the meditation tool's promise of simple, yet effective stress management, the product is sure to strike a cord with ecologically concerned consumers as well.
"Even the most environmentally conscious meditation practitioners can relax with Zen Sticks™, confident that they were made with care for customers and Mother Nature alike," said Laurie Desjardins, the creator of Zen Sticks™,

Spiritual Growth Through Meditation - 4 Simple Steps
One aspect of meditation is to slow down your thoughts enough to "see" your thoughts. Being able to see your thoughts will give you the ability to change your life through the concept of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction follows a simple physical principle that is applied in nutrition. That principle is "you are what you eat". Applied to the Law of Attraction the principle becomes "you are what you think". Think wonderful thoughts and wonderful events will come into your life. Think that everybody is horrible then you will only see the horrible parts of life.
